Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This page explains how shipping and delivery work for stores built on Digikadai.

Shipping is handled by sellers

Each business owner chooses their own courier or delivery method.

Doorstep pay

Pay on delivery is available on every Digikadai store.

Delivery timelines vary

Estimated delivery is set by the seller, not Digikadai.

Buyer-seller relationship

Digikadai provides the storefront; the seller manages fulfilment.

1. Who handles shipping?

Digikadai is a storefront-building platform. The individual business owner (seller) is responsible for packing, shipping, and delivering every order placed through their store. Sellers choose their own courier partners, delivery methods, and shipping rates.

2. Delivery timelines

Delivery times vary by seller, product, destination, and courier. Each seller lists their own estimated processing and delivery times on their storefront or product page. Digikadai does not guarantee delivery dates.

Once an order is shipped, the seller may share a tracking link or update through the WhatsApp tracking system. Customers can also use the "Track an order" page on the storefront to check order status.

3. Shipping charges

Shipping charges, if any, are set and collected by the seller. Some sellers may offer free shipping, while others charge based on location, weight, or order value. The total shipping cost is shown before the customer confirms the order.

4. Pay on delivery (Pay on delivery)

Pay on delivery is enabled by default on Digikadai stores. With Pay on delivery, the customer pays the total order amount in cash or by other accepted means directly to the delivery partner at the time of delivery. Pay on delivery availability may depend on the seller's courier partner and the delivery location.

5. Order tracking

Sellers can send tracking updates and delivery links to customers via WhatsApp or the storefront's order tracking page. Digikadai provides the tracking tools, but the seller is responsible for updating order status accurately and on time.

6. Returns, exchanges, and refunds

Return, exchange, and refund policies are set by the individual seller. Customers should read the seller's policy before placing an order. Digikadai does not process refunds or manage returns directly.

If a product is damaged, incorrect, or missing, the customer must contact the seller directly using the contact details provided on the storefront or order confirmation.

7. Delivery issues and disputes

If an order is delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, the customer must contact the seller first. The seller is responsible for resolving delivery issues with their courier partner. Digikadai is not a party to the sale and is not liable for shipping or delivery problems.
