Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This page explains how refunds, cancellations, and returns work for orders placed on Digikadai-powered stores.

Seller-managed returns

Each store owner sets their own return and refund policy.

Cancellations before shipping

Orders can usually be cancelled before the seller ships them.

Refunds via seller's gateway

Refunds are processed through the seller's chosen payment method.

Digikadai is not a party

Digikadai provides the platform, not the refund or payment settlement.

1. Who sets the policy?

Refund, cancellation, and return policies are set by each individual business owner (seller) on their Digikadai storefront. Digikadai provides the platform only and does not set, enforce, or guarantee seller policies.

2. Order cancellation

Customers can request cancellation of an order before it has been shipped by the seller. Once the order is marked as shipped or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible, and the customer must follow the seller's return or refund process instead.

Sellers should clearly state their cancellation window on their storefront or product page. Digikadai does not manage cancellations between a buyer and a seller.

3. Returns and refunds

Return eligibility, refund timelines, and refund methods are determined by the seller. Common conditions include: product defects, wrong item delivered, size or fit issues, and non-perishable goods. Customers must review the seller's return policy before placing an order.

If a seller accepts a return, the refund is usually issued through the original payment method or via the seller's preferred payment channel (UPI, bank transfer, store credit, etc.). Pay on delivery orders may receive refunds through the seller's chosen refund method.

4. Non-refundable items

Sellers may mark certain items as non-refundable or non-returnable, such as perishable goods, digital products, intimate items, personalized products, or items sold at clearance. Customers must confirm these conditions before checkout.

5. Damaged, defective, or missing items

If a customer receives a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, or if the order is missing items, the customer must contact the seller directly within the timeframe stated in the seller's policy. The seller is responsible for resolving the issue, including replacement, refund, or return pickup.

6. Subscription refunds

Digikadai subscription fees (Free, Growth, Scale) are billed directly to the business owner. Subscription plans can be downgraded or cancelled from the seller's dashboard. Refunds for subscription charges are handled according to the billing terms shown at the time of purchase and are not processed by Digikadai's customer-facing payment tools.

7. Digikadai's role and limitations

Digikadai is not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller. We do not collect customer payments, hold funds, or process refunds. All payment, refund, and cancellation disputes must be resolved between the buyer and the seller directly.

We encourage sellers to keep their policies clear, fair, and easy to find on their storefront. Buyers are encouraged to read the seller's refund and cancellation policy before completing an order.
